Alberta Crude Oil Production by Type (thousand barrels per day)
Canada Energy Regulator estimates of Alberta's crude oil production each month, in thousands of barrels per day, stacked by type: upgraded bitumen (synthetic crude), non-upgraded bitumen, conventional light and heavy oil, and condensate. Together they total about 4.59 million barrels a day in December 2024. CER publishes this series once a year, and its newest month is December 2024.
