Adults Who Drink Heavily, by Health Zone
Share of adults 18 and over who report heavy drinking — five or more drinks for men, or four or more for women, on one occasion at least once a month in the past year — for Alberta and each of its five health zones. Canadian Community Health Survey two-year cycles 2015–2016 to 2023–2024. Survey estimates: each zone is estimated separately and the zones do not average to the provincial figure. Statistics Canada redesigned the survey in 2022 and advises caution when comparing cycles that include 2022 or later with earlier ones.
